Movement for Piano and Strings

This delightful piece almost didn’t see the light of day.  It was written on the back patio of the composer’s house on a warm summer afternoon.  Jarrett wasn’t quite satisfied with his efforts.  His wife convinced him, however, to persevere with the work.  A good thing!  This short, intricate piece has been one of his best sellers. Essentially a set of variations on the elements in an opening theme, this short, intricate piece provides a great opportunity to showcase a guest pianist.
